Coldingham
Bay is an east north easterly facing beach break, which enables
it to work from large north westerly swells, medium to large north
easterly swells to easterly swells right round to a south easterly,
which means it will pick up most of the swells going around the
Scottish east coast and is offshore with any westerly winds.
Coldingham Bay works on all tide states, but as the sand bar is constantly
moving as large swells hit the bay, you cannot always say which
state of tide will work best.
